“CrossFit” is known these days through a variety of mediums. There’s chance that you’ve heard about it from a friend that has embraced this form of exercise, have a law enforcement or military friend that encouraged you to check it out, or perhaps you have seen the CrossFit Games on ESPN.
We want to set our members up for success so we only supply the best.
There is no denying that in recent years CrossFit has made quite an impact in the fitness community.
In 2011, Judy and Bill Langfitt were introduced to CrossFit, and as a result of owning a Pilates Studio and Health Club, the couple was easily drawn to this new platform that provided amazing and real results.
CrossFit Up Dog opened its doors as an affiliate in February 2012, and shares space with its sister companies–It’s A Core Thing – Stott Pilates Studio and Core Fitness Club—in a 14,000 sq. ft. facility.
With approximately 2,500 sq.ft. dedicated to CrossFit Up Dog, it means there’s more than enough room to get an intensive work out and have fun while doing it.
From day one, The Langfitt’s VISION has been to create an environment where like-minded people would come to improve their overall fitness.
Not to be shallowly defined as one’s physical appearance, we seek a deeper meaning of fitness: an all-encompassing definition which includes one’ ability to excel in physical (performance), psychological (confidence) and emotional (happiness) health.
It has been a magnificent journey from humble beginnings to seeing the lives of hundreds of people changed for the better.
Few people are fortunate enough to be involved in such a powerful movement, yielding life-changing results and we are grateful to be some of them and to share our vision and experience with you.
